Born and raised in Rockland, Maine, Jim Gamage, Jr. graduated from Rockland District High School in 1993. After graduation, Jim spent the next year working in the midcoast area before deciding to join the United Stated Navy in 1994. In 1997 Jim was discharged from the Navy and returned home, seeking work through a staffing agency. Jim was hired as a temporary employee for Nautica.

After 90 days the temporary position led into his being hired into the union as a full time permanent employee. One year later he left the union to work at Nautica as an assistant supervisor and soon after was promoted to supervisor. Jim was sent to New Jersey to implement a warehouse management system as Nautica was transitioning its move from the Rockland area. While performing duties in New Jersey Jim was in need of a few employees. He sought out those employees through a staffing agency. Jim soon formed a friendship with the owner of that staffing agency and after many conversations with him, Jim began to form plans of opening his own staffing agency.

In 2000, on August 26, All-4-U, Inc. opened its doors in Rockland. Jim’s first client was Mail Services which needed two temporary employees. After that companies started calling to find out what All-4-U could do for their business. 

Having grown up in the midcoast region, Jim has a true understanding of the needs of the local businesses. He knows the key to All-4-U’s success if that he has several different types of accounts and has the ability to fulfill their varying staffing needs. 

When asked what he feels the highlight of his job is, Jim replied “When you put someone to work that appreciates the job, you are helping their family, the customer and the whole community.”
